The scope and depth of aspects of impacted individual and collective activities, range from our privacy to our education, and from our livelihood to our security. One can form dystopian or utopian views of the direction in which we are marching. This talk aims to inform the discussion.

    I have realized that in unwanted cameras, exceptional detectors help to {focus|concentrate|maintain focus|target|a**** automatically. The sensors with some camcorders change in in the area of contrast, while others start using a beam of infra-red (IR) light, specially in low lighting. Higher standards cameras from time to time use a blend of both techniques and will often have Face Priority AF where the camera can 'See' some sort of face and concentrate only in that.
