This talk outlines the disruptions, both positive and negative, that are brought about by our immersion in the digital. The scope and depth of aspects of impacted individual and collective activities, range from our privacy to our education, and from our livelihood to our security. One can form dystopian or utopian views of the direction in which we are marching. This talk aims to inform the discussion.

He was 22 years of age. Also remembers Robert John Mead, also a Second Lieutenant but with the 8th Service Battalion The Royal Fusiliers. Additionally educated at Winchester, he died from his wounds at Armentieres Hospital on 2 August 1915. Mounted under the window is a mild brown marble pill with details of the Mead brothers and the tablet is inscribed with the words "E'en as they trod that day to God so walked they from their birth.
