Agents and MCP: Beyond the Hype and Into Reality
Over the past year, it seems that everyone in the industry has been talking about Agents and MCP — rushing to build, integrate, and keep up with the pace. But behind all the buzz, the reality looks a bit different.
As someone who speaks daily with product managers from various companies, I keep seeing the same pattern: everyone is being asked to move fast with technology that’s still maturing, trying to bridge significant gaps on the way to a stable product in production.
In this talk, we’ll set the hype aside for a moment and take a clear look at reality: where product managers really stand today, what gaps exist between vision and implementation, and why it’s perfectly fine that we’re all in the same place.
We’ll also dive into some of the professional aspects that get less attention — like the fact that every Agent being built today is just one part of a much larger ecosystem within the organization, and that the future belongs to those who can design secure and intelligent integrations with enterprise systems. The goal is simple: to leave the session with a sense of calm, realistic perspective, and a deeper understanding of what the future of Agents in large organizations truly looks like — not in theory, but in practice.
